Lagadishi

Curaçao afternoons, lizard-hunting with a cousin.

The Lagadishi collection, Curaçao childhood afternoons spent racing a cousin to catch lizards under stones, turned into clean streetwear graphics on hoodies, t-shirts and sweatshirts.

Stones, lizards and a cousin

Lagadishi means lizard in Papiamentu. The collection comes from real afternoons on Curaçao, the founder and a cousin racing each other to turn over stones and catch as many lagadishi as they could. Sharp eyes, quick hands, and a head full of curiosity.

Those days taught patience and the joy of simple adventures. The prints carry that childhood freedom into the wardrobe, a hand-drawn lizard on a clean front-and-back layout that reads as a quiet nod to the people who know.

What's in the Lagadishi line

The current Lagadishi line is small and consistent: the Lagadishi II hoodie carries the original lizard graphic on a heavyweight cotton blank, and the matching tee version is built for warmer days when you still want the print on you.

Designed in Groningen, made on demand

Lagadishi pieces are designed in Groningen and printed on demand by our European fulfilment partner. No warehouses, no overstock, no waste, every Lagadishi hoodie or tee is made specifically for the person who ordered it.

The trade-off is a few days of extra production time. The upside is a much smaller footprint per garment, and a piece that's genuinely yours from the moment it's queued.

Materials, fit and care

Lagadishi hoodies are heavyweight 100% cotton (poly-blend on heather shades) with a brushed fleece interior, 3-panel hood and ribbed cuffs. Cut is relaxed unisex, order your usual size, slightly oversized for the streetwear look.

Tees are midweight ring-spun cotton in the same relaxed cut. Wash inside-out cold, hang dry, no tumble. The print stays sharp through years of regular wear.

Lagadishi sits naturally alongside the rest of the Curaçao-rooted Zieck collections.
